Located in Couvet, in the heart of the Val-de-Travers, Distab continues an absinthe tradition deeply connected to the history of the Valley. Founded by former clandestine distiller Pierre-André Stauffer, the distillery is now carried on by Nicolas Stauffer in a spirit of transmission, authenticity and passion for absinthe.

Located in the back room of a historic pharmacy in Couvet, Distab develops an independent and artisanal approach to absinthe, faithful to the spirit of the Val-de-Travers’ small distilleries.

The distillery mainly operates by reservation and according to availability, favouring occasional visits, groups and exchanges around absinthe culture rather than permanent tourist opening hours.
