Located in Fleurier, in the heart of the Val-de-Travers, Absintherie Guilloud carries on the legacy of the clandestine distillers who kept the absinthe tradition alive throughout the prohibition period.

Built upon the know-how of Daniel Guilloud, who distilled absinthe clandestinely for more than forty years using a family recipe passed down by his grandmother, the distillery is now continued by Pierre-André Matthey in the same spirit. Remaining faithful to artisanal production, the Absintherie Guilloud still favours traditional methods, small-batch distillation and recipes based solely on botanicals, water and alcohol.

Known for its original creations and strong attachment to the spirit of the Val-de-Travers, the distillery has received numerous international awards and produces absinthes recognised for their quality and character.

Style: Traditional Val-de-Travers absinthe, clandestine heritage and artisanal production.
