Located in Les Bayards, in the Val-de-Travers, Absinthe la Vraie embodies a family-driven approach to absinthe based on transmission, passion and the evolution of traditional know-how.

The story began with Pierre-André Currit, who brought his grandfather’s recipes back to life through the creation of his first absinthes. A few years later, his son Nicolas joined the family adventure, developing his own creations while combining respect for tradition with new inspirations.

Today, the distillery produces several handcrafted absinthes in the Val-de-Travers, alongside more original creations that reflect the curiosity and innovative spirit of a new generation. This balance between family heritage and creativity defines the identity of Absinthe la Vraie.
